Mr. Kramer is founder and CEO of the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to advance the quality and availability of seniors housing and care options for America’s elders through research, education and increased transparency. Specifically, NIC seeks to facilitate informed investment decisions, quality outcomes, and leadership development in seniors housing and care. Mr. Kramer, a frequent writer and speaker on trends in seniors housing and long term care, has directed NIC since its inception in 1991. A former county government official and Maryland state legislator, Mr. Kramer was a leader on health and environmental issues while representing the state capital of Annapolis in the 1980s. Mr. Kramer was educated at Harvard and Oxford Universities and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary.
