Sarv Devaraj is a Chair Professor of Management at the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Devaraj has done extensive research in the health care industry for more than 15 years, winning several international awards and recognitions for his work. Most recently, he won an award for the Most Influential Work in Healthcare.  Sarv is widely considered one of the leaders in healthcare information technology and has written more than 30 papers in internationally acclaimed academic journals. He has also co-authored a book on Technology Payoff published by Prentice Hall Financial Times and currently serves as a Senior Editor/Associate Editor at several premier journals. 

Sarv and his CarexTech team have designed a novel solution to enhance engagement among family, caregivers,and residents. The platform allows for an interactive and real time communication, enabling families and staff become more engaged in the daily lives of their loved ones; by capturing and sharing the positive moments that take place routinely in senior living communities. The platform facilitates efficient and effective deployment of corporate branding of activity programs. His continuing research on memory care is represented in a framework (STAR)  developed specially to enhance care for residents facing memory challenges.
